Trace it
easy![]() January 2009 “Easy Tracer” is a matchbox-sized case containing a GPS a text-messaging mobile phone, and a rechargeable battery, but no display. The idea is that if you want to know where it is, you just call it from your mobile phone, and hang up. A few seconds later, Easy Tracer calls you back with a text message giving its position. Other configurable options enable it to send reports at pre-defined intervals, when it enters or leaves a pre-defined area, or when it is moved. Battery life is limited to 48 hours, so it would need a separate power supply if it is to be used as a long-term security device, but it could (for instance) help nervous anchorers enjoy their time ashore without worrying about the boat. echopilot.com |
